Fiber Glass International (FGI) Fibertech Coating System

This "industry standard" coating system can be used to resurface old and deteriorated concrete or fiberglass swimming pools. This system incorporates the use of high quality Vinyl Ester fiberglass resins and Top Coats.

Using the existing swimming pool as a mould, fiberglass chop-strand matting is laminated to the existing surface creating a custom made fiberglass lining which has a high level of strength and chemical resistance.

This lining is then sanded to remove any seams or imperfections before being coated with a Vinyl Ester based filling resin to achieve a smooth surface.

"Blue Star Pool Restorations" have two options for the final finishing process, they are:

1. Natural Finish – a textured coloured finish with high chemical and moisture resistance, which is available in a wide range of colours; and
2. "Sparkle Coat" – a smooth clear fiberglass resin which has a sprayed application. The clear resin contains reflective polyester chips that sparkle beneath the water and in sunlight.

Both the above finishes when applied by "Blue Star Pool Renovations" come with a five year warranty*.
